Made in Ethiopia Headed to Fall Festivals!
After sold-out premieres in June, critically-acclaimed documentary Made in Ethiopia is back with a slew of upcoming screenings across Europe, North America and Asia!
This fall, Made in Ethiopia will be the opening night film at not one but two international environmental film festivals: Planet In Focus in Toronto (Canadian Premiere) on October 15 and Another Way in Madrid (Spanish Premiere) on October 16. With Africa’s population set to reach 2.5 billion by 2050, how the continent industrializes and urbanizes is critical to the future of humanity and the planet. Directors Xinyan and Max will be on hand to pick apart this major global challenge.
The directors will also be at the film’s first festivals on the European continent: the biannual Architecture Film Festival Rotterdam, where we’ll delve into themes of urban development, and the 40th Warsaw International Film Festival.
Later in the month, the film will have its Asian Premiere at the Hong Kong Asian Film Festival, where audiences of Chinese origin will have the chance to reflect on what China’s growing influence means for the developing world.
